Abstract: therapy may affect the prognostic implication of CTC-high at diagnosis.The authors demonstrated that sustained MRD negativity may overcome the prognostic implication of CTC-high.These data suggest that sequential testing may allow physicians to tailor therapy based on this biomarker.Alas, this was not addressed in this study and will need to await further studies.
