Type: article
Abstract: Assembly line design is done to coordinate a set of sequential activity stations that are used to maximize the utilization of workstations and manpower. The stations are deployed in such a way that materials flow through them continuously, continuously and at a constant rate. In this paper, a multi-objective model in intuitionistic fuzzy conditions is proposed for the assembly line balance problem. In order to solve the proposed model, a two-stage method is presented. In the first stage, the multi-objective problem of assembly line balance in intuitionistic fuzzy conditions is transformed into a deterministic multi-objective problem, and in the second stage, an efficiency solution for the multi-objective problem is obtained using the fuzzy programming method. In order to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method, a numerical example is presented.
