Abstract: This article is part of a broader research project focusing on the impact of pornography on adolescents and young people. Specifically, in this text we focus on the first of the objectives, which analyses the sex education received in a digital context where sexualisation continues to be shaped by unequal parameters based on gender. The research approach was qualitative, with 29 in-depth interviews with girls and boys aged 18 to 30, which were analysed using Nvivo11. Among the results obtained, the lack of, or even complete absence of, sex education received both from the family and educational environments stands out. Friends and the internet are their main sources of sexual socialisation. They identify how the silencing of sexuality leads them to seek in pornography what they cannot find in other areas. Thus, they understand that sex education and education in equality are essential to curb pornography and its consequences.
