Knowledge Integration in Physics Experiment Teaching—taking Fiber Mach-zehnder Interferometer Experiment as an Example
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Experiment teaching is a very important part of the teaching of university physics courses. Experiment equipment serves as the best bridge connecting abstract theories with intuitive phenomena. Teachers of laboratory courses need to not only provide in-depth explanations on the various knowledge points involved in the experiment but also integrate the theoretical knowledge and application techniques. By the efficient face-to-face communication in the experiment courses, teachers can guide students to a deeper understanding of the essence of these physical phenomena. This paper takes the optical fiber Mach-Zehnder interference experiment as an example, introducing the way to integrate related knowledge points in the teaching of this experiment, aiming to allow students to expand and perfect their own physical knowledge system through the experimental operation process and result analysis.
