A Conceptual Framework for Long-Duration Steady-State Operation in Fusion Systems via Passive Thermal Decoupling
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This work presents a system-level, non-parametric conceptual framework for evaluating long-duration steady-state operation in fusion energy systems. By emphasizing passive thermal decoupling and aggregated behavior, the analysis explores the conceptual plausibility of multi-year continuous operation without reliance on material-specific, geometric, or engineering assumptions.
