Phase Topology Stability of an Optical Vortex via an Electrically Controlled Twist‐Planar Oriented Liquid Crystal Fresnel Lens (Advanced Optical Materials 5/2026)
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Reconfigurable Photonics This work demonstrates an electrically switchable liquid crystal Fresnel lens enabling dynamic control of optical vortex phase topology. The device allows real-time detection of topological charge and vortex stability through voltage-tuned birefringence, offering a compact, low-power platform for reconfigurable singular-beam photonics and next-generation vortex-based optical communication technologies.
