Abstract: Key Points The domains of physical ability and hearing in the ICOPE screening tool are significantly associated with the risk of falls in the elderly. 85.8% of the participants in elderly care services were identified as being at high risk of falling. The internal capacity (IC) assessment offers a much more comprehensive multi‐dimensional perspective for fall prevention compared to the assessment of frailty.
