Abstract: The article describes the effectiveness of the teaching process, methods and techniques used to teach Uzbek folk songs in music culture classes in the system of continuous education, to determine the characteristics of students, to cultivate students’ spiritual and moral feelings, attitudes and beliefs through targeted study of different musical genres.
