Abstract: The adoption of electric vehicles is increasing rapidly due to concerns about the environment, rising fuel costs, and government policies. In India, Coimbatore is emerging as an important region for the adoption of electric vehicles, particularly two-wheelers and electric rickshaws. This paper examines the preferences of people in Coimbatore regarding electric vehicles, particularly with regard to costs, usability, awareness about the environment, and government incentives. The findings of this paper are expected to aid in the promotion of electric vehicles in Coimbatore.
