Abstract: shaping in posterior restorations but limited adaptability to cavity walls.13,14 In response, GC introduced G-aenial Posterior in 2010, a nanohybrid composite with high filler content, offering improved consistency, sculptability, wear resistance, gloss retention, and marginal adaptation.14,15 Since there are limited studies on G-aenial Universal Flo in primary posterior teeth, our goal was to use the self-etch adhesive technique to compare the clinical performance of G-aenial Posterior and G-aenial Universal Flo in class II primary molars. IntroductIonComposite resins have evolved significantly, becoming essential in conservative restorative dentistry due to their minimally invasive approach and esthetic outcomes.1,2 Initially dominated by traditional composites, the market saw the introduction of flowable composites in 1995-low-viscosity variants of hybrid composites designed for improved handling, cavity wall adaptation, and filling of intricate areas.[2][3][4] These materials had reduced filler content (~37-53% by volume), leading to increased flowability but lower mechanical properties compared to packable composites.5,6 Flowable composites were initially recommended for class I and V restorations and as liners in class I and II cavities beneath packable composites.Their lower filler content and increased monomeric diluents improved fluidity but compromised mechanical and physical properties.[7][8][9] As limitations in wear resistance and polymerization shrinkage became evident, manufacturers enhanced filler loading and polymer chemistry, improving performance and expanding their use in conservative posterior restorations.9,10 Some nanofilled and nanohybrid flowables began outperforming conventional composites.11 GC introduced G-aenial Universal Flo, a lightcured composite with improved viscosity and handling for various cavity types.12 To combine amalgam-like handling with the esthetics and bonding of resin composites, packable composites were developed.Their high viscosity improved 1-
