Abstract: The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming medical education, shifting from traditional hands-on methods to AI-driven approaches. These innovations address challenges like limited clinical training, high student-to-teacher ratios, and the growing need for competency-based education.AI offers personalized, dynamic, and immersive experiences to better prepare medical students for real-world clinical practice. This article explores the role of AI in empowering medical education, focusing on student perspectives. It looks at how AI improves teaching strategies and solves current problems to get students ready for the changing healthcare industry.Using PubMed and Google Scholar, a thorough analysis of 162 publications was carried out, with an emphasis on topics such as artificial intelligence, medical education, technology, competency, and innovation.Information from publications until July 31, 2024, was gathered, examined, and evaluated.Significant developments in AI-driven educational technologies, such as virtual simulations, adaptive learning platforms, and intelligent tutoring systems are highlighted in the article.Personalised learning paths and AI-based feedback have improved clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities. They have also increased student engagement.Though obstacles like infrastructure, adoption reluctance, and ethical issues still exist, technologies like augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) have improved retention. Thus, AI in medical education offers a transformative approach, enabling personalized learning, immersive simulations, and access to real-time analytics.By equipping students with advanced clinical reasoning skills and innovative training opportunities, AI enhances traditional methods and prepares future physicians for modern healthcare challenges.Continued AI adoption is essential for fostering innovation and improving patient outcomes.
