Abstract: Study on the Correlation Between Transperineal Ultrasound Measurements and Stress Urinary Incontinence Severity."The authors address an important and under-explored clinical question: whether transperineal ultrasound (TPUS)-derived functional measurements can reliably reflect stress urinary incontinence (SUI) severity. In their multicenter cohort of 314 women, they observed progressive increases in symptom burden across severity groups accompanied by differences in pelvic floor dynamics.Several temporal and morphological ultrasound parameters varied significantly among slight, moderate, and severe SUI categories, underscoring the relevance of functional TPUS metrics [1].However, further clarification of certain aspects may enrich the discussion and strengthen the interpretation of the findings.
