Abstract: VetSkill expands SQP qualificationsVetSkill has expanded its Level 4 Award for Animal Medicines Advisors (SQP) provision with new equine and farm animal qualifications.The additions build on its existing companion animal award for suitably qualified persons (SQPs) and will allow learners to prescribe, supply and dispense veterinary medicines classed as prescription-only medicine -veterinarian, pharmacist, SQP (POM-VPS) and/or non-food animal -veterinarian, pharmacist, SQP (NFA-VPS) medicines for the relevant species groups, including cattle, sheep, goats and pigs for the farm animal qualification.Learners will develop knowledge of animal health and disease, identifying parasite infections and the safe use and handling of medicines.Successful candidates will be automatically entered onto the VetSkill SQP register.Find out more at www.vetskill.com/quals
