Abstract: The Chandipura virus also referred as CHPV. It was firstly observed in the village named Chandipura, Maharashtra, India in the year 1965. This article includes verified outputs in the detailed and precise way. It concludes over the advance visualization over the quality control. It was discovered at National Institute of Virology, Pune, India (NIV). It was a pandemic due to occurrence of Chandipura virus in the year 2003 in entire Maharashtra. Death over 300 children in were concisely reported in the states of Andhra Pradesh and the Maharashtra. National institute of virology has contributed in the detection of disease caused by CHPV by the cases received of encephalitis. The cases were examined by the cerebrospinal fluid detection by PCR technique, detection of CHPV genome sequence the serum of an infected person or by the detection of IgM antibodies. The Chandipura virus is then transmitted by the sand flies specifically genus-species (Phlebotomus - Phlebotomus papatasi), respectively. Since by today there are no any approved antiviral medication over CHPV. Adult infection often not been noticed at early stages but in the cases of children it is detected earlier due to the neurological involvement in them. Hence, clinical efficacy has not yet been proven. It results in high fever, headache, vomiting and even seizures. Only way is to stay away from causing the infection as it is said earlier that “PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE”
