Abstract: A worker of the Eastern honey bee ( Apis cerana ) collects nectar and pollen from colorful flowering oilseed rape in the experimental station of Jiangxi Agricultural University. Our study demonstrates that flower color plays a key role in attracting pollinators, with colorful oilseed rape varieties supporting a diverse pollinator community and enhancing pollination efficiency. This research highlights how colorful oilseed rape serves as an important nectar resource and habitat for wild pollinators, aiding in the restoration of pollinator biodiversity and ecosystem services (see pages 285–297).
