Postoperative Anastomotic Stricture After Gastrojejunostomy in a Pediatric SMA Syndrome Case: A Surgical Challenge
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: In managing SMA syndrome, initial gastrojejunostomy may lead to anastomotic stricture, necessitating complex revision surgery. Duodenojejunostomy remains the preferred approach due to lower complication rates, highlighting the need for multidisciplinary input and surgeon expertise to optimize outcomes, especially in pediatric cases with atypical anatomy.
