Abstract: The 2026 National Defense Strategy (NDS) marks the definitive conclusion of the "Atlanticist Century." After seventy-five years acting as the primary guarantor of European security, the United States has formally transitioned to a posture of Pacific Primacy. This shift is not merely rhetorical but is anchored in a historic $1.01 trillion budget reorientation that subordinates NATO's conventional defense to the urgent requirements of the Indo-Pacific "Muscle."
