Abstract: We present a case of pediatric spontaneous tonsillar hemorrhage treated by emergency tonsillotomy. The article describes the diagnostic challenges of this rare and unclear occurrence, as well as the need for an individually decided treatment plan based on the etiology of the hemorrhage. Tonsillotomy, to our knowledge previously unreported in the literature for this indication, proved effective both in achieving hemostasis and in relieving long-term symptoms caused by tonsillar hypertrophy.
