Abstract: We construct a free 2-generated band $$\{e,p,e+p,p+e,e+p+e,p+e+p\}$$ { e , p , e + p , p + e , e + p + e , p + e + p } in $$\beta \mathbb {N}$$ β N . As a consequence we obtain a new Ramsey theoretic result.
