Abstract: ABSTRACT Background and Aims Life satisfaction is a key indicator of mental health and quality of life in older adults and is influenced by psychological and behavioral factors such as attachment style and lifestyle. However, evidence on their combined associations with life satisfaction among Iranian older adults remains limited. This study aimed to examine the associations between attachment style, lifestyle, and life satisfaction among older adults in eastern Guilan, Iran. Methods This cross‐sectional correlational study was conducted on 150 adults aged 60 years and older, selected through convenience sampling from specialty clinics, hospitals, and public spaces. Data were collected using a demographic questionnaire, the Abbreviated Mental Test, the Life Satisfaction Questionnaire, the Revised Adult Attachment Scale, and the Healthy Lifestyle Questionnaire for Iranian older adults. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 21. Descriptive statistics, partial correlation analyses, and multiple linear regression analyses controlling for demographic variables were conducted. Statistical significance was set at p < 0.05. Results Most participants were male (54.0%), aged 60–74 years (73.3%), and married (81.3%). Secure attachment style and a desirable lifestyle were the most prevalent patterns. Partial correlation analysis indicated no significant association between attachment style and life satisfaction after controlling for demographic variables, whereas lifestyle was positively associated with life satisfaction ( r = 0.27, p = 0.001). In multiple regression analyses, lifestyle and income were significantly associated with life satisfaction, with the model explaining 22.2% of the variance. Conclusion Lifestyle characteristics and income level were significantly associated with life satisfaction among older adults, while attachment style showed no direct association in this sample. These findings highlight the importance of promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors and economic support to enhance well‐being in later life.
