The Double-Slit Experiment according to the Material Space Theory
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: This paper constitutes the eighth part of a research series on Material Space The-ory (MST). The author attempts to explain the fundamental paradoxes of quantum mechanics, such as wave-particle duality and quantum entanglement, through the lens of continuum mechanics. It is demonstrated that space, defined as the densest granular material medium, possesses specific elastic parameters (G, K) and density (ρ) that determine the motion of particles (solitons) without the need for proba-bilistic interpretations. The paper analyzes the failure of David Bohm’s pilot-wave theory and shows how MST resolves its key issues, restoring determinism and logical consistency to physics.
