Abstract: AEC-CR defines chromatic reasoning as the canonical, post-symbolic reasoning substrate of the Ambient Era. It unifies discrete expressive reasoning in AP₁ with continuous field-based reasoning in AP₂ into a single semantic continuum, establishing color as a primary medium for human–AI interaction. The Purple X Operator is the Legend Gesture of Ambient OS: the universal semantic ignition that transitions AP₁ from navigation to chromatic reasoning without symbols, commands, or UI. Note (Motor Access) Some chromatic phrases (e.g. Red expressions) require traversal via sustained press from higher layers. The gesture listed denotes the expressive act, not necessarily the access path.
