Vector Storm Theory: Instability Dynamics in Multi-Agent Systems
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Vector Storm Theory proposes a conditional framework for directional reinforcement, instability propagation, and recovery in multi-agent systems. It distinguishes conflicting amplification from convergent cascades and treats interaction structure separately from agent count. A minimal spectral model specifies an onset condition, while calibrated measurements and independent recovery tests delimit operational use. Version 6.0 develops tests of class-dependent containment, calibration drift, and withdrawal and recoupling outcomes. The latent instability quantity remains unidentified. External findings support related mechanisms, while VST-specific scaling and cross-scale predictions remain unconfirmed. AI use disclosure.
