Abstract: This scientific article provides an in-depth analysis of the topographic-anatomical relationships of the main nerves and blood vessels of the neck and reveals their significance in clinical and surgical practice. In the course of the study, the mutual arrangement and individual anatomical variability of the large blood vessels of the neck region (the common carotid artery, the internal and external carotid arteries, the jugular veins) and of the main nerve structures (nervus vagus, nervus hypoglossus, the cervical sympathetic trunk) were examined. On the basis of the results obtained, practical recommendations were developed aimed at improving the operative access routes to the neck region, at reducing the risk of complications during surgical interventions and at preventing injuries to the nerves and blood vessels. The results of the study are of important scientific and practical significance for surgical, anatomical and clinical disciplines.
