Abstract: This report presents the outcomes of the five-year research project "Evaluation of Genetic Resources for Strengthening Productivity and Adaptability of Tropical Forests."The project was launched with the aim of enhancing the sustainable management of tropical forests through the evaluation, conservation, and effective utilization of their diverse genetic resources.In the context of accelerating environmental changes, deforestation, and increasing social demands for forest products and ecosystem services, the sustainable use of tropical forests has become a critical global issue.This project addressed these challenges by integrating scientific approaches that link genetic resource evaluation, silvicultural development, and the establishment of information networks.
