Protocol and Outcome of Oral Food Challenge in IgE-mediated Food Allergy: Experience from Qatar
Year: 2026
Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: Oral food challenge (OFC) remains the gold standard for diagnosing food allergy and assessing allergy resolution. Various OFC protocols have been described for OFC done for clinical care; the probability of reaction risk guides the determination of the challenge dosing. This study aimed to describe the clinical characteristics, indications, and outcomes of OFCs performed in the adult allergy clinic at Hamad General Hospital, Doha, Qatar.
