Abstract: Institutionally Transformed and Available Open AccessIt is with great pleasure and a sense of responsibility that I present the 2025 edition of the Ljubljana Law Review (LLR), the first edition in my capacity as Editor-in-Chief.As I assume this role, I am deeply conscious of the journal's rich legacy, with over 100 years of contribution to legal scholarship, and equally excited by the opportunities ahead. This edition embodies the vision of the current editorial board: honouring tradition while embracing innovation, maintaining academic rigour while expanding our international reach, and engaging with both timeless legal principles and urgent contemporary challenges.Building on the important groundwork laid by the previous Editor-in-Chief, Dr Luka Mišič, and his predecessors, this year's edition brings several significant transformations. The first major transformation is institutional. We have established a new editorial structure that ensures diverse geographical and substantive expertise across all areas of law.
