Abstract: IC 485 hosts a bright H$_2$O megamaser and is classified as a LINER galaxy. High-resolution VLBI and e-MERLIN observations at 1.5 and 5 GHz are used to assess whether the nuclear radio emission is due to AGN activity or star formation. The spectral properties and radio morphology support a scenario where a low-power AGN may dominate, with possible maser emission from a sub-parsec accretion disk....
