Abstract: The subject of our study is summarized in the strategy of preventive conservation in Algerian museums by addressing the conditions of mosaic preservation in three museums of the national territory: the Ahmed Zabana Museum in Oran, the Cherchell Museum in Tipaza and the Jamila Museum in Setif. This type of archaeological material and the conditions preserved in it in Algerian museums have been introduced through studied models and a comprehensive view of the state of the preservation medium, whether in exhibition halls or storage. After the study, we decided to provide the conservation and treatment measures required by the mosaics in museums.
