Inter-domain Refraction: The 24-Dimensional Quaternionic Phase Lattice as a Universal Informational Substrate

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This paper develops the concept of Inter-domain Refraction as a proposed unifyingprinciple across mathematics, physics, biology, and information systems. Within thisframework, the Recursive Harmonic Codex (RHC) is treated as a geometric operatorsystem in which rotation, projection, reduction, and observer-anchored measurement arestructurally linked. The central hypothesis is that a 24-dimensional quaternionic phaselattice may function as a common informational substrate whose local manifestationsappear in otherwise separate domains, including protein-folding geometries, neural grid-cellorganization, and Fourier-domain phase-locking systems. The paper does not treat all aspects of the framework as empirically settled. Instead, itdistinguishes between: (i) formal mathematical definitions, (ii) structural interpretationsinternal to the RHC framework, (iii) cross-domain correspondences, and (iv) falsifiablephysical hypotheses. In this setting, the Fold Operator is introduced as a centralreduction/projection mechanism, while Information Gradient Extended Gravity (IGEG) istreated as a complementary interpretive framework in which curvature and mass may bere-read in informational rather than purely geometric or particle-based terms. The aim of this paper is not to claim definitive proof of a completed unified theory, but toprovide a disciplined conceptual and mathematical backbone for future analysis, criticism, refinement, and independent testing.
