300P Prognostic value of histologic descriptors in lung cancer after neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: After neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy, treatment response has an established prognostic role. However, response is only based on percentual reduction in tumor dimension with poor consideration of the histological characteristics of the residual disease. Lymphovascular invasion (LVI) and spread through the airspace (STAS) are histologic descriptors with prognostic value in early-stage lung cancer. However, their role after neoadjuvant chemoimmunotherapy is poorly investigated. Nevertheless, they may help to stratify patients’ risk of recurrence and prognosis.
