328P Trimodality therapy in malignant pleural mesothelioma: Does radiation truly improve survival? A SEER database analysis
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare, aggressive malignancy with poor survival. Although trimodality therapy (TMT) has been used in selected patients, recent evidence has questioned its survival benefit and generalizability. This study compares outcomes of multimodality treatment strategies and identifies demographic and pathological factors associated with improved survival in resected MPM.
