334P Metabolic reprogramming of the tumor microenvironment in pleural mesothelioma highlights nucleotide metabolism–immune interactions
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Pleural mesothelioma (PM) remains a therapeutically challenging malignancy, in which treatment resistance is closely linked to the metabolic and immunologic properties of the tumor microenvironment (TME). Although altered cancer metabolism has been implicated in immune evasion and therapeutic refractoriness, the metabolic programs shaping the PM TME and their immunologic relevance remain incompletely understood. Building on our prior proteomic profiling, we further investigated the metabolic–immune interface in PM by integrating proteomic and transcriptomic analyses.
