243P Plasma circulating methylated tumor DNA as a predictor of recurrence after lung cancer surgery with curative intent

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for most lung cancer cases and is associated with poor long-term survival. Surgical resection offers a curative option for early-stage disease, yet postoperative recurrence is frequent. Therefore, reliable and cost-effective biomarkers such as circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) are needed. This study aims to uncover whether a multiplex methylation-specific ctDNA assay can detect recurrence within two years after curative surgery for NSCLC.
