438P Chemoimmunotherapy versus chemotherapy for extensive-stage small cell lung cancer: A retrospective real-world study of 904 patients
Year: 2026
Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive malignancy, with over 70% of patients diagnosed at the extensive stage (ES). Phase III studies have established chemoimmunotherapy (CIT) with PD-(L) 1- inhibitors as the new first-line standard for ES-SCLC based on significantly longer overall survival (OS) compared to platinum/etoposide (PE) chemotherapy (CHT). This study investigates the real-world efficacy of CIT compared with alternative first-line regimens in patients with ES-SCLC.
