124P Assessing the prognostic value of clinical and radiomics features in synchronous oligometastatic NSCLC
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Current guidelines recommend adding local radical treatment (LRT) to systemic therapy in patients (pts) with synchronous oligometastatic (sOM) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). While some achieve long-term survival, many pts experience early progression (PD), stressing the need for biomarkers to identify who may benefit from LRT. Accurate selection is crucial to avoid futile treatment and to enable tailored communication and survivorship support. Radiomics and artificial intelligence may offer noninvasive biomarkers by quantifying tumor characteristics.
