Abstract: The blog describes how Graduate Management Trainee Verity Place collaborated with embedded researcher Dr Ava Hodson through Doncaster’s NIHR‑funded Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC) Doncaster to conduct a systematic literature review that informs the city’s forthcoming Road Safety Strategy. Their partnership built Verity’s research skills and produced a report already shared across the council and with external stakeholders, with plans to refine it for journal publication.
