Abstract: We provide a characterisations of nuclear weighted conditional expectation operators between different $L^p(μ)$-spaces. As a consequence, when the underlying measure space is non-atomic, the only nuclear weighted conditional expectation operator between different $L^p(μ)$-spaces is the zero operator.
