Abstract: The study analyzes the impact of state alcohol policies on the mental health of the population using WHO data. The paper examines alcohol consumption regulation measures such as taxation, age restrictions, and advertising bans, and their impact on anxiety and depressive disorders. Multivariate regression and correlation analysis methods were used to identify significant relationships between the strictness of alcohol policies and improvements in mental health indicators. A significant link between strict alcohol regulation measures and improved mental health was identified. The paper provides recommendations for comprehensive alcohol regulation measures and emphasizes the importance of government investments in mental health systems.
