Abstract: The article addresses the current issues of international disarmament against the backdrop of growing international tensions, exacerbated relations between key geopolitical players, and the development of new types of weaponry. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the foreign policy strategies and actions of the Russian Federation in the context of a multipolar world and the consequences of its special military operation in Ukraine.
