Abstract: As the need of technology based education in this era is vital, Computer Assisted Instructions (CAI) could potentially resolve the existing challenges related to vectors and kinematics. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to investigate effects of CAI on students’ Integrated Science Process Skills (ISPS) in vectors and kinematics. Based on this, this study investigated effects of Computer Assisted Lecture Method (CALM), Computer Assisted Interactive Invention Strategy (CAIIS) and Interactive Invention Strategy (IIS) approaches while the Traditional Lecture Method (TLM) was used as a comparison group. A pre-test-post-test quasi-experimental design was used for this study. Totally, 176 students were participated in the study. The interventions were implemented for eight weeks. Adobe Audition 1.5 and VEGAS Pro 17 were the software that sweated the instructions. The three-tier test was the data collection tool used for the study. One-way ANOVA was provided that there was a significant difference of pre-test scores among the groups (P = 0.016< 0.05). Thus, pre-test scores were used as a covariate. As a result, ANCOVA was provided that the two groups treated by a computer were more effective than the instructions without a computer. The result also revealed that there was no statistically significant interaction effect of the groups and sex on students’ scores (P = 0.067 > 0.05). The study concluded that CALM and CAIIS has positive effects on both male and female students with regard to ISPS. Therefore, the study recommends that practitioners should work on teachers’ trainings related to CAI.
