Abstract: This article analyzes the quantitative ratio of toxic and non-toxic salts in irrigated sandy deserts and irrigated soils distributed in the Konimex natural geographical region, as well as the patterns of their distribution along the profile. During the research, the toxicity level of salts and their effect on cultivated plants were studied. It was found that in the studied areas, extremely toxic salt - soda (Na2CO3) is not found, but the share of other toxic salts in the total amount of salts ranges from 13% to 94%. When comparing the indicators obtained in 2015 and 2023 in areas subject to irrigated agriculture, the accumulation of toxic salts in the lower layers of the soil profile (100-200 cm) was observed as a result of irrigation and salt leaching measures.
