Abstract: يعنى هذا البحث بدراسة الكهنوت النسائي للمعبودة حتحور في الإقليم الثالث عشر من أقاليم مصر العليا، وذلك من خلال النصوص والمناظر الواردة على جدران مقابر أزواجهن من حكام الأقليم فضلًا عن نقوش التوابيت واللوحات التي تناولت وظيفتهن في كهانة حتحور. كما يعنى البحث بدراسة المكانة الاجتماعية لكاهنات حتحور من خلال ما تتضمنه تلك المصادر. تشتمل هذه الدراسة حصرًا شاملًا لحاملات الدرجات الكهنوتية للمعبودة حتحور، وتبحث الدراسة أيضًا في تفاصيل المهام الوظيفية لكاهنات حتحور.Abstract:This study examines the female priesthood of the goddess Hathor in the Thirteenth Nome of Upper Egypt through a comprehensive analysis of textual and iconographic evidence. It draws primarily upon the scenes and inscriptions preserved on the tomb walls of their husbands, who served as provincial governors, in addition to funerary inscriptions on coffins and stelae that explicitly address their roles within the Hathoric priesthood. The research further investigates the social status of Hathor’s priestesses as reflected in these sources, offering insights into their position within the broader framework of provincial elite society. It also provides a detailed survey of women who held priestly titles associated with the goddess Hathor, presenting a structured record of their attestations. Moreover, the study explores in depth the specific functions and ritual responsibilities undertaken by these priestesses, thereby contributing to a more nuanced understanding of female religious roles in ancient Egypt.
