136eP Artificial intelligence–driven nomogram integrating hematological indices and clinical features for predicting distant metastasis in gastric cancer

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Gastric cancer (GC) remains a major global malignancy with a poor prognosis, largely due to late-stage presentation. Early identification of distant metastasis (DM) is therefore crucial. Given the recognized role of systemic inflammation in tumor progression, this study aimed to develop an interpretable DM prediction model using clinicopathological features and inflammatory indices, including the Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) and Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR).
