Abstract: International nurses have supported the National Health Service (NHS) since its early years. The recruitment of international nurses presents challenges. One of these factors can be communication. Good communication in healthcare has been shown to reduce burnout and increase satisfaction in staff, whilst having a positive influence on health outcomes. This commentary aims to critically appraise and evaluate a systematic review on educational interventions for communication and contextualise the findings with specific reference to international nurses.
