Abstract: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most diagnosed cancer and second leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide. Many patients experience suboptimal outcomes due to the lack of predictive biomarkers. Patient-derived tumoroid (PDT) models, which preserve the molecular and phenotypic diversity of CRC, are amenable to drug screening and offer a unique platform for predictive biomarker discovery.
