Black Holes as Information Relay Stations: A Six-Principle Synthesis from Holography to Unitarity

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: This paper does not propose new physics. Instead, it sequentially connects six widely discussed principles — (1) the physical reality of information (Landauer/Wheeler), (2) the impossibility of information deletion under unitary evolution, (3) surface encoding via the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy, (4) cross-dimensional connection via ER=EPR, (5) post-scrambling recovery via the Hayden-Preskill protocol, and (6) information retrieval confirmation via the Page curve — to construct a single integrated pathway. The logical consequence is a functional reinterpretation: a black hole is not a destruction device but an information relay station that performs two sequential functions — holographically recording information at the event horizon (record) and relaying it through wormhole channels (relay). Seven testable predictions (six compatibility checks and one model-specific) establish falsifiability, including a unique prediction of a dual-decay pattern in merger ringdown waveforms (Δt ≈ 0.1–1 ms), testable at LISA-class sensitivity in the 2030s. As a secondary exploratory extension, the structural consistency between identity preservation (modeled as information patterns via IIT 4.0) and the principle of information non-deletion is briefly examined. This paper is an integrative synthesis, not a new theoretical derivation.
