Holding Inventory Booking and Revenue Management System

Abstract: The traditional way of managing roadside hoardings and banner bookings involves a lot of manual interaction between individuals, which often results in inefficiencies such as double bookings, revenue leakage, and inefficient utilization of available resources. This paper proposes a centralized Hoarding Inventory Booking System and Revenue Management System through a robust web architecture developed using PHP and MySQL, which can effectively handle interactions between various stakeholders involved in advertising through hoardings. This system also includes an interactive visual tracking timeline indicating the booking status of hoardings as available, booked, active, completed, etc., which can effectively eliminate manual errors involved in such a system. This system also includes a state-of-the-art Glassmorphic Graphical User Interface (GUI) that has a dark background to make it more efficient in a dynamic environment. Experimental results show that this system can effectively handle booking efficiency, efficient utilization of available resources, and transactional security, making it a more efficient system compared to traditional ways of managing hoardings.
