Nomenclatural revision of Pinguicula (Lentibulariaceae) in the Baltic and Nordic countries including their oversea territories and Iceland

Abstract: Names in the genus Pinguicula described for the Baltic and Nordic countries, including their oversea territories and Iceland, were analyzed to provide nomenclatural and taxonomic clarity. Of the 33 names retrieved from the literature and online databases, 16 were found to require typification. Seven lectotypes and six neotypes were designated; one name was excluded, one name was validated through the designation of a holotype, and three names remain untipified due to the absence of suitable material.
