Abstract: Thyreus hirtus (de Beaumont, 1940) Notes. The genetic analysis revealed that the European and Moroccan populations of Thyreus hirtus form two distinct species, with the latter being described as T. rasmonti Wood, 2023. Thyreus hirtus has no supporting records in Morocco (Wood 2023c), and hence is removed from the checklist.
